Russell, formerly of this city, was killed at his home Thursday by a falling tree. The remains were brought here from Castle Rock for burial and the funeral was held at the Baptist Church Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Mr. Russell is survived by his wife, four children, and three sisters who are Mrs. George Hixon of this county, Mrs. J.C. Dougherty and Mrs. O.C. McWillis of Oregon. If anyone is descended from any of these families, please let me hear from you. James and his sisters, Laura Ellen, Francis Myrtle and Mary Elizabeth were the children of Joel M. and Rebecca A.
