Author: reo_meo Surnames: Russel, Russell Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.russell/6757.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I have Thomas Charles Russel, born 1888 (poss scotland) on my fathers' birth certificate, from 1930. i was told Thomas had died prior to his birth. i found a thomas and Grace russel living in the Clayton NY area, 1920 census. i can find no info on him...birth cert says he was a machinest. Clayton is just accross the river from Ontario Canada. many of the relatives crossed back and forth.
