Elvy was Born in 1792 and was married to julia king. His father was James Russell, And Elvy is listed in the 1850 Census. In the 1820 Census, there are listed John Russell with a wife and 2 kids (boy and Girl) James Russell with 2 boys and one female Elvy Russell with 2 Males to age 10, 1 16-26 and Elvy is listed as 26-45. 1 female age 16-26. There is also a William Russell with 1 male to age 10, 1 male to age 16-26, and william was 26-45. In 1830 there is a george russell age 20-30 and a wife age 20-30. Also a Charles Russell with a male age 10-15, 15-20 and 50-60 as well as 1 female age 50-60. Elvy was age 38 at the time and his house hold had 1 male under 5, 1 male 5-10, 2 males 10-15, 2 males 20-30, 1 male 40-50, 2 females under 5, 1 - 5 to 10, and 1 30-40. John Russell is also listed with 1 male under 5, 1 at 10-15, 1 at 40-50. 2 females under 5, 1 at 10-15, and 1 at 30-40. the 1850 cenbsus was the first to list household names. In it we have Susan Russell age 30 with Isaac Russell age 20 and Francis Russell age 2 (female). George Russell 45 with Mary E. Russell age 35 and Sarah J Russell age 7. There is a Rizop Russell age 34 and Emaline Russell age 39. Then there is John Russell Sr., 63, with Mary Russell age 50, Harriet Russell 32, John Jr. age 28, Virginia Russell age 22, Martha Russell age 21, Robert Russell age 17, and Frances Russell age 13 (male). Elvy was 58, Jukia was 57, Francy was 20, John was! 16, Fletcher was 14, Cornelia was 12, William was 10, Sarah was 8 And Albert, My GGGfather was 26 at the time. All of the Russells lived very close to each other and all were related in this census. There was also a Dempsey Ryussell age 37 and wife Sarah 26, Susdan 4 and William T Russell 6 mos. James Russell 38 married to Ann Russell age 30 with Abram H. Russell age 7, Ann M.E. Russell age 5, Malvina Russell age 3 and James Russell age 1.
