In the 1900 Walker County Alabama Census, town of Jasper, I have Leona BF who is head of household, so I have no idea who her Russell husband was. Her maiden name was Car/Carr. She is a widow and occupation is "washer woman." In the 1900 census she has children, Dewit(my husband's grandfather), Beatrice, Clayton, Thelma, and Elma?? living with her.
