Russell. They lived in Worcester, Ma., at 23 Institute Road. Her mother later remarried a man named Reed. Catherine's grandmother's last name was Carter. I only know this from an inscription on the back of a photo I have of these three generations plus Catherine's daughter, Miriam, who was my grandfather's (Raymond Field Russell) sister, as a baby. I would be interested in anything on Katherine Field and her ancestors as far back as possible. Catherine was buried in the Russell family plot at Hope Cemetery in Worcester. Date of burial was 19 August 1910, at the age of 50. Do not know her birth date or place of birth. I am relatively new to this. Would I find her birth record through the Morman Church? Henrietta RUSSELL married, at Christ Church (Episcopal) in Philadelphia John FITZGERALD. They may or may not be my ancestors. I think it is likely they are... My ancestors, and, I suspect the son and daughter-in-law of Henrietta are: John FITZGERALD m. Mary KILLINGER (who later remarried to James AUSTIN) 1783 Christ Church, Philadelphia. Does anybody have this line, or a database containing this line? A connecting thread appears to be a contributor to LDS, Perry FITZGERALD. The wedding of John FITZGERALD and Henrietta RUSSELL took place at Christ Church January 13, 1741. Thanks, Vince Summers

The LDS FamilySearch web site lists 5 William RUSSELLs born in TN in 1832 but only 1 Willis - Willis Washington RUSSELL Birth: 15 Jun 1832, Tennessee Parents - Father: Asa RUSSELL, Mother: Abigail PARKHURST Also found - Willis W. RUSSELL Marriage: 21 Jan 1851, Smith, Tennessee Spouse: Elizabeth BOSTON Be aware that LDS data is frequently incorrect and incomplete. But if the 1880 census data lists his wife as Elizabeth, then the marriage data is likely a match. Oddly, the only childen I can find, born to this couple, were twins born in Kentucky - George G. Looking for parents of Samuel Russell. He was born 1820 and Sams mother was Elizabeth. I find her on the 1830 Census of Kanawha County WV. She was born in Va. Anyone know where she came from and who her husband was? Pat

I decided to try to help add depth to this message, but here's what I found using the LDS FamilySearch web site. CAUTION - Data from the LDS source may be erroneous or incomplete. According to the LDS source (www.familysearch.com) - John H. RUSSELL married Mary W. ALBERTSON on 20 Jul 1852 in Wayne, Ohio. All well and good, except the "History of Peoria County, Illinois" text says John H. RUSSELL (originally from Wayne Co, Ohio) moved to (Peoria County) Indiana in 1850 and settled in Princeville in 1854. QUESTION - If John H. RUSSELL moved to Indiana in 1850, why was he married (2 years later) in Wayne, Ohio in 1852? Is the LDS data incorrect, or is the "History of Peoriam County" erroneous? A true copy of the marriage record would confirm who is right! Or birth records of any children might reveal some truth also.
