I dont know if it is the same-but will give you the info. Joseph was b. May 1, 1780,d. June 28, 1858. He was the 9th child, 4th son of Thomas Russell(b. Andover, Ma.) and Bethia Holt. They were in Wilton, NH by Sept. 29,1769, having purchased property of Jonathan Greele. He married Hannah Dascomb. He married 2nd, Jan. 8, 1809, Sarah, daughter of Simeon and Mary(Dale) Holt, of Wilton, who d. March 13, 1857. They removed to Weld, Me. Other members of both families also to Weld, Me.

Joseph Bonparte Russell married Margaret Catherine Forbis and they had a daughter, Melinda(Myrtle) Dove Russell. She is my great grandmother. I have more information on her. Is this the correct line?

Russell, 75, died yesterday at Concord Hospital. She was born in Boscawen, the daughter of Thomas and Alice (Hannaford) Russell. She lived in Boscawen for most of her life. She worked for Pratt & Whitney Co. in Connecticut and later for the former Seth Thomas Co. in Boscawen until retiring. Russell was a participant of the Boscawen Congregational Church. She received the first Boscawen's Home Town Heroine honor award in 2001; and was an avid booster all children's athletic programs, recognized by referees and umpires. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Survivors include two sisters, Katherine Bush of Penacook and Margaret Gould of Maine and Florida; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. in Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St., Penacook. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Boscawen Congregational Church. Betty French of Webster Congregational Church,! will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boscawen.
