Elizabeth, I'm stumped! All I can tell you is that Tull is a first name as far as I can tell and that he is one of the Russell children which I mentioned earlier. They lived in Meigs co. Ohio during late 1880 and still resided there in 1933 according to 1933 Rural Book of Meigs Co. Have not been able to find any other information on this line of Russells. Several records for birth of James Jefferson RUSSELL Abt 1820 and Abt 1821 but no parent data. Does anyone connect with these people? Samuel Russell said on 1880 Census of Kanawha his father was born in Ct and mother in Va and he in Va. Mary Jo, The only Texas relatives that I'm aware of are the ones that I listed before John, Hallie, Houston, Tull, German, Allie Mae, Thomas H. We think that their father was John also, but are not sure. Their father may have moved from Tennessee to Texas and then back to Tennessee. I don't know if the children moved from Ellis County or not. Barbara
Mary Jo, In answer to your question, the only other Russell siblings that I have are Hallie, Houston, Tull, German and Alie Mae Russell in addition to my great grandfather, Thomas. Of course, they did have a brother, John, but I do not know any more. I have a picture of a Nancy Russell and I do not know who she is. We definitely know that she is not Nancy Kincaid Russell. We are assuming that our Russell family originated in Tennessee and maybe a Thomas' father moved to Ellis Co., TX and then moved back to Tennessee, but we're not sure. I wish I had more to make a connection, but that's all the information that I have right now. Barbara
