N.C. and found a vertical file with a Russell genealogy chart that contains my Charles Russell(b 1800 d ca 1873)whose father was listed as Talbot Russell(1777-1863), though I have found him listed as Talbert also. In this chart, Talbert is listed as first marrying a Mary Wilson by whom he had four sons, and later in 1833 in Rockingham Co. NC marrying a Sally Eaton. Also, according to this chart, he moved to Guilford Co after 1829 and appears in the 1830, 1840, 1850, and 1860 censuses. Also, according to this chart, he is the son of a Charles Russell (1735-1840) who was married to a Catherine. I am descended through my maternal grandmother to Talbert's son, Charles (1800-1873) who married Martha Sparks and moved to Greenup Ky in 183l, and perhaps (according to this chart) moved to Dubois Co., Indiana and died there, though his widow (and most of his family) remained in Greenup, Ky for some time after his death. I'd like to correspond with persons who are knowledgeable about these RUSSELLs who lived in Madison Co., TN in 1850 and 1860, and some who were found in nearby McNairy Co., TN in 1870 and who appear to have come to TN from NC. I am trying to ascertain: 1. the exact relationship of Perry RUSSELL to Chrisenberry RUSSELL 2. the exact relationship of John and Elijah RUSSELL to Chrisenberry RUSSELL 3.
