I will be going to the Hospital later this month and it will be necessary for me to unsubscribe for about two months. I would love to know if anyone has a connection to my Russell's, if so. I would for you to please send me an email. My intentions are to follow the Russell's as they migrated from Virginia. Since my gril was Martha "Pattie" Russell married William Wade Sr., 1767 Mecklenburg Co., VA It was not the same as if it was one of the brothers, because I took up the Wade family at this point. Last year, I visited Antrim Parish where Andrew was born in 1716. The countryside is beautiful. I learned that his parents were from Fife, Scotland the same as Andrew's wife Florence Henderson. I would like to search in Fife and try and find Adam Russell's family. Do not know why I cannot be happy with Adam being born in the late 1600s. Do you feel frustrated at the lack of response on the Russell board? I can't find anything on my family and it drives me crazy. I always feel that we must have family related because you have so many Russells. Though I've never seen a familiar name or had an answer answer to any posts!!! Jen

Does anyone have information about a Spencer Russell who was born in Ct and maybe moved to the Western Virginia area that became WV in about 1800? He would have been married to a lady named Elizabeth? I am also looking for a man named Arch or Archibald Russell who would have been in the Kanawha County area about 1877. He might not have lived there maybe some county nearby. Thanks Pat

I've been trying to research Barbary Russell and the family she was living with in the 1900 census, Bel Browning and her husband, G.W. (George Washington) Browning. Isabelle Emeline Browning was one of Barbary's daughters. The line I am working on goes down through Mary Theletha(?) Browning, b. April 8, 1898, a wonderful lady who was like a grandmother to my sisters and I. I would love to learn anything about Barbary and her husband so that I can pass it on to my friend's family. Thank you for any help you might be able to give me. Mary Hoppe
