    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/5541/oZEBAIB/3498.2.1 Message Board Post: This is to correct and to expand the work by Joyce Bradley as sumitted by Margie Russell pertaining to Ruben Washington Russell. Most of this information seems to be correct; however, a few changes are in order. I am Laburn DeWayne Russell, born October 10, 1945, second son of Thaddeus Warsaw Russell, child number 7 as listed. The first son of Thaddeus Warsaw Russell is Thaddeus Calhoun Russell, born January 16, 1944. More addition to child 7/m includes his first wife, Allie Ladale Adams the adopted daughter and granddaughtet of Laburn Columbus Beville of Thaxton, Mississippi. Allie Ladale Adams is the mother of the first two sons of Thaddeus Warsaw Russell. Pasty Ruth Parker Russell, the second wife of Thaddeus Warsaw Russell is the mother of Gail Marie Russell Walker, Gary Joseph Russell, and Rebecca Lynn Russell Augostinelli. Will try to list corrections pertaining to my aunts and/or uncles, the childred listed in Joyce Bradley's research. 1. Abbey Gail Russell was married to Marvin McPherson not McFeron 2. Lillian Russell, was married to Zinney Ross. There are two children of this marriage: Dixie Lee Ross and Marvin Ross. 3. Maggie Russell, died of cancer sometime in the early to mid-fifties. Need to correct the spelling of her husband's name to Blansett. Matthew "Bac" Blansett was the second husband of Maggie Russell and the father of J.B. Blansett of Louisville, Mississippi; my first cousin. Maggie Russell's first husband was John Hitt, father of John Henry Hitt, of Pearl, Mississippi, also one of my first cousins. This was one of my favorite aunts. 4. Sally Russell, of Pheba, Mississippi, husband was Ollie Blansett, not Blanchard; again the spelling is wrong. Sally was the mother of Ben Blansett, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Neal Blansett of Pheba, Mississippi and one daughter whose name slips my mind at this time. 5. Booker T. Russell, a most intersting character, died sometime this past fall, 2002, in a nursing home in Ruleville, Mississippi. There are three sons: Roster Russell, Eddy Russell and Tom Russell. 6. J.B. Patrick Russell, died sometime in the seventies. His widow Shirly Russell still lives in Houston, Mississippi. 7. Thaddeus Warsaw Russell, my father, was discussed at the beginning of this email. 8. Chistine Russell Angle, probably my favorite aunt, is currently living in West Point, Mississippi. She is the only child still living. Her husband George Quitman Angle died sometime in the late 1990s. She is the mother Swain Angle, Merle Ray Angle, a school teacher and coach in Grenada, Mississippi, Gloria Angle last know living in West Point or close by and Barbara Jo Angle, last know my the writer as living in CA., and working for Coca Cola. 3. Thanks for your help...and there lies the problem. MY Sarah E. Watson, dau. of Martha Russell, married MY great grandfather, William Beasley Hudson, 24 Nov 1854. Ultimately, they lived in Noxubee county, Ms. Now, either my family has passed down the wrong "family names", or, there has to be another Sarah E. Watson, as the one that is listed as marrying Nov 1854 that has been located married someonelse...just three or four days earlier?? And the fun begins. ear --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. 3. I knew this going too easy! Thanks to the great info some of you sent, I now am researching Attala county, Ms. for a marriage record of my Sara/Sarah Eliza Watson, daughter of Martha Russell and Charles Watson. Bible records state that she married William Beasley Hudson on 23 Nov 1854, location not noted. So.....I find a marriage. It was for Sarah E. Watson, in Attala county, Nov of 1854. Now, the big question: Was there more than one Sarah E. Watson??? It is recorded: Married: Attala Co 20 Nov 1854 James S. SLEDGE & Sarah E. WATSON. Could this be a relative, one with the same name as our Sarah E. Watson?? Guess I need to get down to the LDS and order records and microfilm to sort this out. This strikes me as curious, as the oldest daughter should have a mother from Alabama, and the rest of the kids' mother should be Mary Morris from Mo. Any info on this puzzle would be appreciated.
