    3. I haven't been on the Russell mailing list for a long time. My Uncle and I was seating down talking about finding his father on the 1 900 census and I find out that day and went to the computer and looked up the census that he was talking about. So that got me to start thinking of my uncles grandfathers children. I have most of their information but this one. So tonight I'm asking for your help. I am looking for Dora Bell Russell who was born on the 24 of Jul 1876.in Marshall Co., Tennessee. She moved with her family to Texas. Here is the problem. I don't know for sure if James C. Russell and Martha E. Blackwell Russell are her parents or if David Allen Russell and maybe a first wife to David. But I do find Dora listed as a child in the family bible to Nettie Hall and David Allen Russell BUT Dora was born in 1876 in Marshall Co., Tennessee. But David Allen Russell and Nettie Hall was married in 20 Jun 1886 in Hunt Co., Texas. Allen Mother lived with his sister Mary Gould in 1900 cause I found then in Mineola, Wood, Texas. Then I found Allen Russell and Nettie in Indian Territory, Choctaw Nation, Township 8 (this part of Oklahoma) Dora isn't living with any of them cause she was a new bride of 4 years living in Dist 131, Justice Prec. 4, Van Zandt, Texas. As a wife to James Arthur Land. I found them up to the 1930 census which took me to Dallas, Dallas, Texas. I know one of these couples is her parents but I can't find her with any of these people. In the 1880 Census James Russell is living with his sister Elizabeth Neeley and dieing of Cancer. He is the only one I can find in the 1880 census. So to make my long story short I need to know if anyone out there is working on Dora Bell Russell line. Or have any ideals of where I should go from this point. Sincerely Donna [email protected]

There are 28 listings for a Charles Russell ... none showing middle the name of Bevrige. That is not to say one of them is not him, you just need to read through and pick the possibilities. You can visit the BC archives in Victoria and make photocopies of the actual documents. The archives will make copies for you but they are very expensive. You can also use the services of Random Acts of Kindness and people will often make copies for you and only charge you for photocpying and postage. Death certificates can give you a lot of information about relatives, where the person lived, occupation, etc. Try joining the Rootsweb BC list and you may get more info there. Also nespapers can be a good resource. Since both Jean and Robert died fairly young there may be more than an obit for them. I too am from BC and have Russells but not of your line. Good luck, I hope this helps. 2. Re. Charles Bevrige Russell and Jean Munroe Mooney - I know this sounds trite, but do you know where these two people died, and have you checked their death certificates? Death certificates can be a lead even those most are not too reliable. Did Charles and Jean always reside in Canada? Call your Historical Society in the town/county where they lived (it might cost you a few dollars but well worth it) and they will look up the newspapers and maybe even look up the death certificates for you. My Russell's came from Pennsylvania and settled in Minnesota so I don't think my Russell's are in your line. Good Luck!

Very hard to read) Anyway, I found a marriage license for A. J. Russell and Roda Redman in 1836, Macon, N.C, Does anyone have this couple in their database or know what happened to this couple? Just wondering if this could be my Alexander and Rhoda in Ohio in 1850. with Emerella being related to Rhoda.
