Am interested in locating family of Warren R. Rush. Born about 1835 in GA. The following is all that I have found about him. First located on the 1860 Coosa Co., Al census. Abt. 25 with a wife named Mary abt 23. Lucy age 3 and Andrew age 1. There is reason to believe that the 2nd Lt/1st Sargent listed in the AL 17th Infantry Co. D was this Warren R. Rush. The 17th Al (commonly called the "Cochrane Greys") was organized at Montgomery, AL in Aug. 1861. But according to the "Supplement to the Official records" a 2nd Lt. named Warren R. Rush resigned 6/1/1863. RUSH, Warren R. died intestate (no date). A. J. Rush was appointed adminstrator, 15, May 1882. Heirs: A. J. Rush, Hot Springs Co., ; Sara E. CONINE; W. B. Rush: I. J.
