    3. Sedalia Democrat Sedalia, Missouri 06-27-02 Homer Unruh, 1912-2002, Moundridge, Kan. Homer Unruh, 89, of Moundridge, Kan., formerly of Versailles, died Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge. He was born Aug. 4, 1912, in McPherson County, Kan., a son of Abe H. and Elizabeth Wenger Unruh. On May 15, 1938, in Scott County, Kan., he was married to Hazel Koehn, who survives of the home. Mr. Unruh was a retired cattleman and farmer and was a member of Beulah Church of God In Christ, Mennonite, in Versailles. Also surviving are a son, John Unruh of Rio Verde, Goia's, Brazil; two daughters, Wilma Unruh of Versailles and Ruth Williams of Wallace, Kan.; four brothers, Harvey Unruh of Louisville, Ga., Conrad Unruh and Oliver Unruh, both of Moundridge, and Clifford Unruh of Sharon Springs, Kan.; two sisters, Suzanna Koehn of Moundridge and Martha Hughes Becker of Avera, Ga.; two half-brothers, Chester Unruh of Hesston, Kan., and Russell Unruh of Wallace, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Unruh and Kenneth Koehn, and two sisters, Hazel Koehn and Twila Unruh. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beulah Church of God In Christ, Mennonite, in Versailles, with Melvin Koehn, Franklin Wenger, Stanton Unruh and Galen Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family suggests memorial contributions to Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, Kan.
