She was born March 7, 1908, > in Windsor to Jacob and Elizabeth (Lind) Altergott. On Feb. 5, 1928, she > married William W. Rutz in Windsor. He died in 1971. Mrs. Rutz was raised > and educated in Windsor. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in > Windsor, GWESCO, Chinese Checker Club, and many church organizations. > Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Roland Schnorr of Fort > Collins; two sisters, Marie Winder of Windsor and Ruth Midcap of Wiggins; > three grandchildren, Bill Schnorr, Joyce Geiger and Lynne Sweangen; and five > great-grandchildren. A daughter, Verna Page, three sisters and four brothers > are deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethel Lutheran > Church, Windsor. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor. Friends > may visit from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Adamson Windsor Chapel.
