Loveland newspaper Loveland, Colorado 05-25-02 Reuben Ehrlich, 79, of Milliken, died May 21, 2002, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. He was born May 27, 1922, in Fort Collins, to Jacob and Mary Scheidmiller Ehrlich. He attended Box Elder School. He married Ruby Moore Bethel in Loveland. He was a farmer in agriculture. He and his wife played Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus for the last 30 years for their grandchildren and the children in the surrounding communities. They participated with their team of horses and surrey pulling dignitaries at the Greeley Independence Stampede, Cheyenne Frontier Days and numerous small-town parades throughout Colorado. He was proud of the "Frontier City" he built on their farm south of Milliken. They entertained many organizations with hay rides and old-fashioned bunkhouse barbecues. Mr. Ehrlich is survived by his wife, Ruby Moore Bethel Ehrlich of Milliken; a son, Theodore Ehrlich and wife Kathy of Loveland; two daughters, Judy Rouse of Milliken, and Joyce Cittadino and husband John of Loveland; a sister, Leona Meissner of Concord, Calif.; half sister, Delores Southwick of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; five grandchildren including Kevin Rouse of Milliken, and Brett Ehrlich of Loveland; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jacob Ehrlich, Emanuel Ehrlich and Victor Ehrlich, three sisters, Lydia Green, Hannah Meissner and Bertha Krieger, two stepbrothers and three stepsisters. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the First Congregational Church-UCC, 800 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland. The Rev. Jonathan Winans and nephew, the Rev. Lew Meissner, will officiate. A reception will be from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Milliken Senior Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milliken Senior Center in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
