    3. Loveland newspaper Loveland, Colorado 05-25-02 Charles Cecil Hart, 84, of Loveland, died May 23, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. He was born March 18, 1918, in Monte Vista, to Charles Ralph Hart and Bernadina Ter Horst Hart. He attended Sargent Schools and attended Adams State College in Alamosa. He married Llewina Parker on Oct. 11, 1941, in Taos, N.M. Mr. Hart served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He received the American Theater Ribbon, WWII Victory Medal, the AAF Air Crew Combat Wings, and was a staff sergeant at time of discharge. He farmed in the San Luis Valley for 13 years, and worked for the Colorado State Fish and Game Department for 15 years. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Monte Vista and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Llewina P. Hart of Loveland; three sons, Chuck Hart and wife Donna of Fort Collins, Curtis Hart and wife Dee Ann of Loveland, and Larry Hart of Alamosa; two daughters, Pat Thompson and husband John of Loveland, and Debbie Crowe and husband Bruce of Denver; a sister, Iva Jo Leverly and husband Arlis of Seattle; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Hart; a daughter-in-law, Becky Hart; and two sisters, Mary Montague and Bonnie Jean Myers. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Loveland. Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens north of Loveland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Resthaven Funeral Home. Back to the top
