Longmont newspaper Longmont, Colorado 02-03-02 Feb. 14, 1925 - Feb. 2, 2002 Charles Louis Stahl of Longmont died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in Longmont. He was 76. He was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Cushing, Okla., to Louis Henry and Mabel Grace (McKinsey) Stahl. He graduated from Aurora High School in 1943 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy later that year. He served until 1946 and later enrolled at the University of Kansas. He was married to Bonnie Martha Greer on Oct. 2, 1948, in Denver. He worked as a watchmaker from 1948 to 1959 and as a systems engineer from 1959 until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed target shooting and helping others with their computers. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Bonnie. He is survived by David C. Stahl Sr., of Lafayette; Diana C. Stahl of Longmont; Martha L. Boroviak of Longmont; Frances L. Stahl of Portland, Ore.; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Marilyn Yoder Boeke of Central Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory with military honors by John Harold Buckley Post 32 American Legion, Longmont.
