Loveland Newspaper Loveland, Colorado 02-19-02 HOFER: Clista Belle Hofer, 95, of Loveland, formerly of Greeley, died Feb. 15, 2002, at North Shore Health Care Facility in Loveland. She was born Dec. 6, 1906, in Cedar, Kan., to J.W. and Lydia Chapman Newbrey. She attended Cedar High School in 1924 in Kansas. She married Ralph Hofer on July 11, 1933, in Norton, Kan. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Greeley. She enjoyed traveling, watching TV, her family and church. She taught Sunday school in Kansas. Mrs. Hofer is survived by a son, Sam Hofer and wife Donna of Loveland. She was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Stoddard Funeral Home Chapel in Greeley. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley.
