Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 02-03-02 Freida Klein Freida Klein, 89, of Loveland died Monday, Feb. 18, at the Loveland Good Samaritan Retirement Village. She was born Aug. 15, 1912, in Johnstown to Henry and Magdalena (Sterkel) Brehm. On Feb. 26, 1933, she married Reinhold Klein in Loveland. He died March 23, 1978. Formerly of Johnstown, Mrs. Klein lived in Loveland for 51 years. She attended Lakeview County School in Loveland. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Loveland. She loved time with family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A homemaker, Mrs. Klein also was a part of the success of the family farm. She retired from the farm and moved into town in 1965. Survivors are three daughters, Darlene Depperschmidt and Diane Klein, both of Loveland, and Bonnie Bernhardt of Yuma; a son, Ronald Klein of Johnstown; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A daughter, Shirley A. Findley; four sisters, Mollie Schmidt, Pauline Roth, Anna Adler and Helen Spade; and three brothers, Adam, Henry and Reuben Brehm, are deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Congregational Church, Loveland; private family interment. Friends may visit from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Hunter Chapel, Loveland.
