Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 02-02-02 Dave Weinmeister Jr. Dave Weinmeister Jr., 94, of Greeley, formerly of Kersey, died Thursday, Jan. 31, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit. He was born Nov. 21, 1907, in Windsor to Dave and Mary Elizabeth (Hoffman) Weinmeister. On Aug. 1, 1927, he married Pauline Welhelm in Fort Collins. She died Jan. 16, 1979. Mr. Weinmeister was educated in the Kersey area. He farmed in the Eaton-Severance area and in Larimer County from 1940-66. In 1966-70, he farmed in the Windsor area. He moved to Kersey in 1973. He went to work for the Kern Cattle Ranch in 1970 and retired in 1982. Mr. Weinmeister was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Windsor, and Kersey Seniors, American Association of Retired Persons and Platte Valley Grange. Survivors are four daughters, Betty Stromberger of Windsor, Ruth Lovato and Violet Walter, both of Greeley, and Mary Yabsley of Fort Collins; two sons, Albert Weinmeister of Greeley and Clarence Weinmeister of Brighton; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Raymond and Robert Weinmeister, a sister, Mary Weinmeister, and a brother, Jake Weinmeister, are deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Church of Christ. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor. Friends may visit from noon-7 p.m. Monday at the Adamson Memorial West Chapel. Contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inc. in care of the West Chapel.
