Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 02-06-02 Ella Weimer Ella E. Weimer, 87, of Colorado Springs died Saturday, Feb. 2, at Good Day Residence nursing home in Colorado Springs. She was born Nov. 11, 1914, in Blue Hill, Neb., to Theodore and Matilda (Schultz) Werschke. On April 11, 1936, she married David D. Weimer in Lamar. He died in August 1998. Formerly of Idaho and Lamar, Mrs. Weimer had lived in Eaton before moving to Colorado Springs in 1994. She and her husband farmed in the Lamar area, and she had also worked for the Eaton school district. Mrs. Weimer attended the Broadview Park Church of God in Greeley and loved to read and cook. Survivors are a daughter, Jeanette Prather of Colorado Springs; a son, Robert Weimer of Orange Park, Fla.; a sister, Esther Schultz of Fort Collins; a brother, Eric Werschke of Greeley and Ewald Werschke of Palisade, Neb.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. An infant son, two sisters and three brothers are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. Interment will be in the Eaton Cemetery.
