This list grew to contain about 40 early ships from 1874-1876. We have quite a few experts on our mail list. This was quite a fun and cooperative project. At the same time I have started to add indexes of imigrants that came from individual Volga villages. The Villages are: Balzer, Dietel, Frank, Hussenbach, Kolb, Norka, Saratov, Walter, Warrenburg. These indexes were compiled by Gene Jenkins and in fact it was Gene's idea to add ship indexes for Volga villages. This could become quite a helpful resource if we could gather ship lists for many Volga villages. If anyone has gathered ship lists (from Ellis Island or elswhere) of their Volga villages I would be happy to put them on the German Volga web site. They do not need to be in any special format, nor do they need to be comprehensive. Enjoy, Patrice Miller
