Loveland Newspaper Loveland, Colorado 03-09-02 Mabel M. Scheer, 90, of Loveland, died March 2, 2002, of failing health in the hospice wing of McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was a former resident of Fremont, Neb. She was born June 14, 1911, in Arlington, Neb., to Cortez and Amy Krajicek Cook. She graduated from Arlington High School and from Methodist Hospital Nurses Training in Omaha, Neb. She was a registered nurse. She married Elmer G. Scheer on Dec. 29, 1935, in Arlington. He died in 1988. She moved to Good Samaritan Village in Loveland in 1996 from Fremont, Neb. In Fremont, she was a Girl Scout leader, worked with the Red Cross, worked with blood drives and was a member of Fremont Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to various card groups. Her survivors include: daughters Sharon Robertson and husband Dr. Ian K. Robertson of Loveland, Diane Eidam and husband Don of Edina, Minn., Connie Moeller and husband Don of Grand Island, Neb., and Cindy Tegt and husband David of Dallas; sister Norma Wolles and husband Wendell of Terreboone, Ore.; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: husband, Elmer G. Scheer; and four brothers, Raymond, William, Lawrence and Joseph Cook. Cremation has been conducted. Memorial services were held Sunday at the Spiritual Life Center at the Loveland Good Samaritan Village. Dr. George Huber officiated. Final memorial services and interment will be in Fremont, Neb.
