Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 03-27-02: : : Flora Griffin : Flora E. Griffin, 98, of Greeley died Tuesday, March 26, at North Colorado : Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1903, in Lincoln, Neb., to John and : Elizabeth (Hergenreder) Feuerstein. In Dec. 3, 1928, she married George E. : Griffin in Littleton. He died Nov. 13, 1972. Mrs. Griffin moved to : Platteville in 1918. She and her husband lived in Johnstown for six years, : Oregon for three years, Phoenix during World War II, Pueblo from 1947-63 and : returned to Greeley and Phoenix in 1979. She attended school in Raymond, : Neb., and Platteville. A homemaker, she also worked for Goodyear Aircraft : Co. during World War II. She worked with her husband in their grocery store : in Pueblo and managed an apartment complex in Phoenix. Mrs. Griffin was a : member of the Broadview Park Church since 1979. She also was a member of : Woodmen of the World and was active in the Retired and Senior Volunteer : Program serving meals at the Broadview Apartments. Survivors are three : grandchildren, Janice Frost and Shirley Hahn, both of Denver, and Gary Wild : of Hoopa, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews including Robert L. “Dutch” : Feuerstein of Greeley and William “Bill” Freauff of Platteville. A : stepdaughter, a grandson, three sisters and two brothers are deceased. : Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy : Chapel. Interment will be in Linn Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from : noon-8 p.m. today at the Macy Chapel.
