Carl will be fondly remembered by his loving and devoted wife of forty-two years, Ruth; children, Rob (Suzanne), Kelly (Gord) Grayson, Kevin (Betty), and Curt; grandchildren, Megan, Vickie, Justin, Jessica, Jonathan, and Christopher; mother Sarah; sisters, Charlotte Nickoleffee, Valeria (Jim) Thorburne, Darthy Jean (Bill) Engelman; mother-in-law Irene Coghill; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Carl is predeceased by his father Alex and brother Robert. Carl was a welder and mechanic with EL-Russ Inc. who loved camping, hiking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, in Kananaskis. At the family's request Cremation has already taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview United Church, 3023 - 63 Avenue S.W., on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Carl's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1825 Park Road S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2G 3Y6.
