Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 04-11-02 : Joan Kindsfater : Joan Kindsfater, 69, of Alliance, Neb., died Saturday, April 6, at Good : Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance. She was born May 22, 1932, in : Alliance to Melvin and Ida (Bauer) Johnston. After she graduated from high : school, she lived most of her life in Colorado, including Greeley for 35 : years. She returned to Alliance in 1998. On Aug. 5, 1965, she married Robert : Kindsfater in Greeley. He died Oct. 15, 1998. Survivors are two : stepdaughters, Cindy Robbins of Minburn, Iowa, and Diana Hawn of Windsor; : two stepsons, Doug Kindsfater and Bob Kindsfater, both of Fort Collins; a : niece, Rita Burn of Alliance; and two nephews, Terry Johnston and Perry : Johnston, both of Alliance. A son, David, and a brother, Oral Johnston, are : deceased. Services were Wednesday at the Bates-Gould Chapel in Alliance. : Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Roselawn Cemetery, Fort : Collins.
