He was 66. : : Mr. Brunner was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Newton, Kan., to Lawrence H. and : Roberta (Gaedeke) Brunner. : : He moved to Colorado in 1967 from Newton. On May 28, 1974, he married Mary : Ellis in Berthoud. : : Mr. Brunner worked as a railway postal clerk from 1962 until 1967, traveling : from Newton to Amarillo, Texas. From 1967 until his retirement in 1998, he : worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Boulder. At the time of his death, he : was employed as a shuttle driver for Fisher Chevrolet in Boulder. : : In his free time, Mr. Brunner enjoyed country-western dancing, photography, : camping and traveling. He also was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, : yardwork and gardening. He especially loved spending time with his family : and friends. : : Mr. Brunner was a member of the International Church of the Foursquare : Gospel. : : Survivors include his wife of Louisville; a son, Rick Brunner and his wife : Debbie of Snohomish, Wash.; three daughters, Pam Nimmo and her husband : Richard of Andover, Kan., Chyrl Taylor and her husband Jim of Denver, and : Cyndi Rule and her husband Dennis of Broomfield; two brothers, Robert : Brunner and his wife Pat of Grand Prairie, Texas, and John Brunner and his : wife Treva of Newton; a sister, Jean Nuss and her husband Richard of : Woodinville, Wash.; and eight grandchildren. : : Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, at Howe Mortuary : Chapel, with the Rev.
