Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 04-02-02 : August Dumler : August “Gus” Dumler, 89, of Greeley, died Sunday, March 31, at Columbine : Care Center East in Fort Collins. Mr. Dumler was born Dec. 28, 1912, to : Phillip and Eva Dumler in Windsor. On Feb. 6, 1935, he married Ruth Bernhart : in Loveland. Mr. Dumler farmed for 18 years in the Eaton and Ault areas. He : worked 15 years at the Great Western Sugar Factory and also started selling : insurance. Mr. Dumler enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and talking with : people. He really enjoyed sports, especially the Denver Broncos and Colorado : Rockies. He loved his family and grandchildren. He was a member of St. : Paul’s Congregational Church, a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge and a : member of the Elks. Survivors are his two daughters, JoAnn Hill of Greeley : and Dianna Jean Sothman of Fort Collins; a son, Bill L. Dumler of Greeley; a : sister, Lydia Alles of Greeley; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. : His wife, a sister and a brother are deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. : Wednesday at St. Paul’s Congregational Church in Greeley. Interment will be : in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at : Stoddard Funeral Home.
