Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 04-27-02 Gladys Williams Gladys "Vicky" Bennett Williams, 82, of Alamo, Calif., died Wednesday, April 3, in Alamo. She was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Eaton to Arthur and Hannah (Eklund) Molander. Mrs. Williams graduated from Eaton High School. After graduating from Covenant Hospital in Chicago, she served in the Navy from 1942-54 and reached the rank of lieutenant senior grade. She was a nurse at Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, Calif., for more than 20 years and retired in 1981. Survivors are her husband, Dr. Winfield Williams; two sons, Ron Bennett and Brad Bennett; a sister, Elsie Ottoson of Eaton; four grandchildren; and her husband's children by his first marriage. Her first husband, Ronald Bennett, died in November 1983, and her parents, a sister and a brother are deceased. Friends and family celebrated her life April 8 at the Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church in California.
