Fort Morgan Times Fort Morgan,Colorado 07-06-02 Irene Jespersen, 89, dies Irene Isabelle Jespersen, 89, of Greeley, died Monday at the Life Care Center in Greeley. She was born Oct. 5, 1912 in Vienna, S.D. to Joe W. and Anna Marie (Minarik) Holiday. Mrs. Jespersen graduated from a high school in Bryant, S.D. On Feb. 21, 1981, she married Andrew Jespersen in Fort Morgan. Mrs. Jespersen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Circle and Prayer Chain in Fort Morgan and Greeley. She worked as a clerk in dress shops and managed Dodds Dress Shop in Fort Morgan. She moved to Fort Morgan from Naples, S.D. in 1946 and then moved to Greeley in 1980. Survivors include one daughter, Reta Schmick of Greeley; one brother, Woodrow Holiday of Bryant, S. D.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, one daughter Myra A. Linker and her parents. Visitation was from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Memory Gardens in Fort Morgan. Interment was in Memory Gardens.
