But my Frank ancestors are Heinrich Heizenroeder and Anna Maria Sitzmann. They emigrated to Argentina, arriving in Buenos Aires 9 January 1878 and in Gualeguaychú, Entre Rios on 25 January 1878. They stayed there, although their children eventually moved to Colonia Coronel Suarez, a predominantly German-Russian suburb of Buenos Aires. I also have a Georg WACKER and Katarina Margareta SACK, both probably born in Frank. They emigrated to Entré Rios, Argentina, where Katarina died in 1941. Their daughter Amalia married Wilhelm LEICHNER of Huck in Entré Rios, moved to Colonia Coronel Suarez and in 1962 to Livingston, Montana, where Amalia died in 1964. Wilhelm and his family moved on to Spokane, Washington, where he died in 1979, and where several of his children still live. We have approximately 46 List and 25 digest members on this mailing list. Roughly 1/3 of you responded to Roll Call. I think that was a pretty fair result all things considering. I would now like to take the roll call one step further. I would like to know where your ancestors from Frank originally settled and the finally settled. I think that this information would be of great interest to the list. I ask that all items be returned to the RUS-SARATOV-FRANK mailing list.
