Greeley Tribune Greeley, Colorado 10-20-01 Louise Overman Louise M. Overman, 98, of Evans died Friday, Oct. 19, at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado inpatient unit. She was born Aug. 28, 1903, in Milliken to William G. and Anna (Geiger) Pfleiderer. On Dec. 4, 1923, she married Edward Overman in La Salle. He died Nov. 24, 1956. Mrs. Overman lived in Milliken until she was 5 before moving to Greeley, then Galeton and then to Evans in 1923. She attended the Lone Tree School and graduated from the eighth grade. She graduated from Greeley High School. Before her marriage, she worked at the Hackett and Walters Bakery for three years. A homemaker, Mrs. Overman was city clerk of Evans for a few years after her husband died. She was a member of the choir at Greeley Christian Church and a member of the fire department auxiliary in Evans. She enjoyed family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors are a daughter, Lorraine Johnson of Evans; four grandchildren, Anita Decker of Eaton, Gail Ford of Evans, Lowell Roberts of La Salle and Lynne Smith of Greeley; two sons-in-law, Leroy Johnson and Lloyd Roberts, both of Evans; and five great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Helen Roberts and Alice Overman; a sister and four brothers are deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. Interment will be in the Evans Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Evans in care of AFS, 702 13th St., Greeley, CO 80631.
