They owned and : managed the Tastee Freeze Drive Inn in Highmore, S.D., 1965-1969, then moved : to Loveland in 1969. : : Mrs. Hoffman worked in production for Hewlett-Packard for 19 years, retiring : in 1998. She also worked as the cook manager at the Larimer County : Vocational-Technical School. : : She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. : : She liked to do cake decorating; she baked wedding cakes and made : gingerbread houses. She loved traveling, camping and fishing. : : She is survived by her husband, Marvin Hoffman of Loveland; a son, Richard : H. Hoffman of Loveland; a daughter, Vickie L. Hoffman of Greeley; brothers : Gerhard Geidel and Alvin Geidel Jr., of Mitchell, S.D., Donald Geidel of : Dimock, and Harvey Geidel of Parkston, S.D.; sisters Nelda Neugebauer and : Margaret Sheets of Mitchell, and Irma Geidel of Loveland; and grandson Eric : Hoffman of Loveland. : : She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janis R. Hoffmanon Nov. 21; a : brother; two sisters; and her parents. : : Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the : Rev. Cindy Wolfe and the Rev.
