Hi All, I just joined the list yesterday. Here's my Rudd connection: My name is Sandra (Wilson) Holland. My parents were Herbert Wilson (b. 12-6-1916 Wolfe Co.,KY; d. 9-4-1986 Preble Co., OH) and Daisy Banks (b. 10-24-1926 Powell Co.,Ky; d. 8-1-1984 Butler Co.,OH) They were married 6-27-1942 Wayne Co., IN. My paternal grandparents were Willis Mann Wilson (b. 5-10-1893 Magoffin Co.KY; d. 11-22-1949 Wolfe Co. KY) and Mary Jane Haynes (b. 1-5-1897 Menifee Co. KY; d. 6-12-1986 Butler Co. OH) They were married 11-24-1915 in Wolfe Co. KY. My paternal great-grandparents were Eli Wilson (b. 12-24-1858 poss. Magoffin Co. KY; d. 5-24-1914 in Wolfe Co., KY) and Rebecca RUDD (b. about 1857 KY and d. after 1920 KY. I don't know where or when they married but I do know that Eli Wilson divorced his first wife, Mary Thomas, in Magoffin Co. KY in 1885. So the marriage between Eli and Rebecca RUDD took place after 1885 but before 1888 when their first son, William was born. On the 1920 Wolfe Co. KY census, Rebecca is listed as 63 and widowed, living with her son, Willis, his wife and two sons. I know absolutely nothing else about Rebecca RUDD. Does she possibly connect to any RUDDS that anyone is researching? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sandy Holland Dayton, OH
