Celia-- Oscar Rudd is from my Illinois branch! He was the son of Erastus Rudd and Harriet Hill, and I have a picture of his tombstone from the Mound Cemetery at Joliet. He would have been a first cousin of Barak, Alonzo's dad. His brother Rossiter was keeper of the Mound Cemetery for many years, and was on the area school board.
