Hi, Janet, Good to hear from you. My line is the same as yours down through Increase and Bathsheba Johnson. It is not known what the emigrant, Jonathan Rudd's, wife's name was; I don't even list Mary as I have found no place that lists it other than secondary sources. My line then goes Silas(5) and Phebe Herrick (some sources say Phebe Davis, but I have proved that it is Herrick); Increase(6) and Lydia Cole (have been unable to find her ancestry as yet); Julia Ann Rudd and Miner Bromley; Louisa Bromley and Edward T. Greene; Malona Greene and DeForest Thompson Doty; Clara P. Doty and Leon Elstine Gilman; Gladys Gilman and Ward McKinley Heselton. The last two were my parents. We have a Rudd Mail List on the internet, and I know there are several people who descend from Samuel and Mary Ames. If you would like more information to join the list, we would love to have you. I don't remember if anyone is descended from Harvey and Charlotte Ingersol. I'll send a copy of this message to the list so if anyone has anything more to contribute at this time, maybe they will! Thanks again, cousin, Joann Nichols [email protected] janet dafler wrote: > In putting the surname Rudd on the internet, my niece has discovered > that you might have a common Rudd lineage.
