Jesse HILLS (s/o Amos HILLS & Bette/Elizabeth JUDSON) Jesse was b. 20 Apr 1773 E Hartford CT. d. 27 Jun 1852 Martinsburg, Lewis Co. NY. Nancy moved to Iowa with her son Henry, and died in Manchester, Delaware Co, IA...we have no date. She is buried under a large oak tree. Her children were Charles b 1805, Cornelius b 1807 (in NY), Jetson b 1809, Lucinda b 1811, Sophia b 1814, Russell b 1817, Almeron b 1820, Mary b 1825 (m. Henry Risley HOUSE, whose family also goes back to early CT), and Henry Harrison (our line), Henry Harrison HILLS b 25 Oct 1830 Martinsburg, Lewis Co, NY, d 18 Dec 1904 in Waterloo IA of Bright's Disease m. Selina MILLER 6 May 1867 in Iowa. Selina was also from NY, and they had both come to Iowa as teachers, met & married in IA. their seven children included: Harry Bert HILLS b 17 Apr 1882, IA d. 1956 Dunkerton, IA m. Caren (Carrie) KNUDSEN (b. Denmark) Their seven children include: Jean Carol HILLS b 1922 Cedar Falls, IA, m. Harlan A. STENBERG 1948 Andrew Harlan STENBERG b 1955 IA m. Susan M. KING in 1979 We have land deed information from when Nancy & Henry moved to Iowa, we have plat maps of the family land, but we have NO information on her parents, siblings, or even date of birth. All we know is that she was born in CT, and that one of her children (Mary) married into the HOUSE family of CT. Any leads would be very welcome, especially by an elderly aunt who is the daughter of Harry Bert HILLS and is very curious about Grandma Nancy. Thanks! Sue
