To all related to Burligham Rudd - here is a question/dilemma: Burlingham Rudd Sr. lived in Anson County North Carolina. His sons, George L and Burlingham Jr also lived there for a while. I have records from Anson County Deed Abstracts that Burlingham Sr gave Burlingham Jr land in Jan 1757. I also have a record that Burlinham (don't know which one, but I assume it is Jr.) married to Elizabeth had three children baptized in the Prince Frederick County in South Carolina in October of 1745. The children listed are Burlingham, Walter, and Martha. Did they briefly go down to SC? Does not make sense to me that they are still listed in Anson County multiple times in the 1750's, and in SC in 1745. Anyone know about this? Anne Barnes
