Thomas Edward Rudd b. 1849(poss. Vt. or N.Y.) married Jennie E. Stewart, N.J. His father was Thomas Rudd(poss. a Sr.) and mother Alice-----. Family history has Thomas sr. born and living in Vt. The only account of a Thomas Rudd was found in Roster of Vt. volunteers 1861-1866, which listedhim as a prisoner from 2-2-1864 to 12-16-1864.He died 1-11-65 from "disease". Another source has him buried in Green Mt. Cemetery. So far, cannot prove that this Thomas is father to my Thomas. Bev
