By the way, according to his tombstone, he was born in 1812. He and his wife and a group of relatives are buried in the Mound Cemetery, also known as Higinbotham Cemetery, in Joliet, Illinois. The Congregational Church has the baptism of the following: Jan. 15th 1809, Abigail, consort to Johnson Rudd; David, Vincent, Leonard, Olive, Erastus, children of Abigail Rudd. I did not find where the other five children might have been baptized. I'd be interested in knowing who the person is that descends from this line and how she descends.
