    3. Hi folks--- I apologize for not keeping the group up on where I am! Thanks for keeping me in mind, Joann!! My new email address is kstephenson@kscable.com The website address, where the Rudd stuff I have is posted, is http://home.kscable.com/kevinesquire Barak, Johnson Rudd's son, was indeed my ancestor, actually, my great-great-great grandfather. I have been to his gravesite, and I have certified copies of his death certificate, as well as that of his wife, Livonia. Please feel free to contact me if you need any of that information. By the way, according to his tombstone, he was born in 1812. He and his wife and a group of relatives are buried in the Mound Cemetery, also known as Higinbotham Cemetery, in Joliet, Illinois. I have moved to Hutchinson, Kansas, about 40 miles from Wichita, and I am an Assistant Reno County District Attorney. Kevin. Kevin K. Stephenson Attorney at Law 1813 B East 24th St. Hutchinson, KS 67502 Home: (620) 728-0078 Work: (620) 694-2715 Work (Direct Line): (620) 694-2717 Cell: (620) 728-9890 Pager: (620) 694-3195 Email (home): kstephenson@kscable.com Email (work): kevin@rngov.reno.ks.us Website: http://home.kscable.com/kevinesquire -----Original Message----- From: Joann H. He and Abigail had eight children that I know of, David, Leonard, Olive, Clarissa, Vincent, Erastus, Barak and Sanford. Barak was born 29 Feb. 1812 or 1813, according to Celia Snyder and Kevin Stephenson, and died 12 Oct. 1900 in Joliet, IL, according to Kevin. This is his line. Celia is descended from Johnson and Abigail and I believe she knows a great deal about the second marriage and Rudds in general. We haven't been able to discover Abigail Brown's ancestry as yet. Celia is the listowner of the Rudd Mail List. I'm not sure I have Kevin's latest e-mail address, but Celia's is cgsnyder@uiuc.edu In fact I guess I'll send a copy of this to the Rudd Mail List and perhaps someone can help you. I don't know what Middletown Church Records the DAR has. I know that I've copied a lot of the Baptist Church Records and some of the Congregational Church Records. The Congregational Church has the baptism of the following: Jan. 15th 1809, Abigail, consort to Johnson Rudd; David, Vincent, Leonard, Olive, Erastus, children of Abigail Rudd. I did not find where the other five children might have been baptized. I'd be interested in knowing who the person is that descends from this line and how she descends. 3. Hi, Kevin, I think you did tell us, but I don't believe I'd kept track of it! Anyway, I have forwarded your message to the DAR lady to help her in getting someone into the DAR, probably through Increase(4)'s service. Thanks, Joann Nichols jnichols@sover.net "Kevin K. 3. Kevin, It was good to hear where you are now. Had wondered about you. Headed back towards the old home place I see. Congratulations on your new postion!! Growing up Hutch was the big town we always went to for shopping. But even then coming from Belpre, most ever other place was bigger that we were use to! <BG> If I get out to my farm (I still own a farm there at Belpre) I'll try to give you a holler. I have a new email address you might want to note. Peggy in K.C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin K.
