Also you posted the Jonathan Rudd web site which I call up lots of good info. on Surnames such as Backus. I have direct line from many CT. ancestors, this comes though my g-great mother Ethel Adelaide Lathrop . My direct Lines are, Huntington; Hyde;Abel;Fargo;Backus;Lee. My Aunt Adelaide Levis did a lot of research back in the twentys but there are holes of dates and places. I was able to verify the dates that I had from the ancestors list that Milt sent me . My biggest wall is my namesake Levis I cant get beyoned my gg-grandfather, Owen Sylvester Levis.
