Hi All, I have a Francis Marion Rudd, b. 1837 GA, he married 1. Nancy Shuffield 1863 AL, 2. Catherine Holmes 1899 AL, child from 1st m. Oscar Rudd b. 1859 AL, d. 1941 Coffe Co., AL, m. Frances Covington. Linda, found Mollie Rea Rudd (d. of Steven Vincent Rudd) m. a Sheppard, possibly linked to Geletta? Also, the Jim Rudd you refer to must be the son of Media Sanders, so looking for that link. Still charting and piecing all the new info...wish now I had made more notes on those branches that weren't direct to my line, but glad for the the little branches that I did make note of because it proves the clustering theory of many families with different surnames than Rudd migrating same time, settling same place. I am working at it, I know Linda is and others so let's keep each other informed until we break this case!
