I'm hoping for some help. I have a Louisa Rudd m. Henry G. Oaks in St Joseph Cty, IN 11-13-1845. The LaPorte, IN 1850 census gives her age as 30, and birthplace NY. Henry Oaks was also born in NY, 1817, Cherry Valley, Otsego Cty. For a long time I thought her parents were Joseph Rudd and Vernera Smith, but in researching I've found that their Louisa Rudd (also born 1820) m. Francis Mather. Can anyone suggest anothe Rudd line in NY to search? The 1850 census also has a Mary Rudd age 9, born NY, living with them, perhaps a sister? Thanks in advance. Terry in Michigan
