Here is some info that I recently sent to another researcher of this part of the Rudd family: This is what I have on Increase(4) Rudd and Bathsheba (Johnson). He was born 21 Sept. 1734, Norwich, New London Co., CT, died about 1802, Middletown, Rutland Co., VT (probate record), married 8 May 1755, Norwich, CT, Bathsheba Johnson, born 28 Apr. 1739, Lebanon, New London, CT, daughter Maverick and Deborah (Payne) Johnson. Their children were recorded in Middletown, Rutland Co., VT. 1) Silas, born 25 Feb. 1756, Norwich, CT, died 19 Feb. 1804, Middletown, VT, marriage int. 26 Jan. 1777, Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, Phebe Herrick, daughter Ebenezer and Esther (Braman) Herrick. Don't believe it when you see he was married to Phebe Davis. It is not true; her second husband was John Davis. Silas and Phebe are my line. 2) Deborah, born 7 May 1758, Norwich, CT, married 13 Aug. 1779, Middletown, VT, Levy Wood. 3) Eunice, born 28 Jan. 1761, Norwich, CT, rec. Middletown, VT as June, died 7 Mar. 1774, Norwich, CT, age 12-10. 4) Hannah, born 19 Feb. 1763, Norwich, CT, married 21 Dec. 1786, CT, Stephen Richardson. 5) Barak, born 5 June 1765, Norwich, CT, died ca 1834, married 26 Nov. 1789, Middletown, VT, Abigail Mehurin/McHuron. 6) Theda, born 3 July 1767, Norwich, CT, married Erastus Hill. 7) Johnson, born 9 July 1769, Norwich, CT, died ca 1817, Middletown, VT, married 17 Jan. 1798, Middletown, VT, Abigail Brown. 8) Sarah, born 16 July 1772, recorded Middletown, married Samuel Spicer. 9) Abigail, born 28 July 1774, rec. Middletown, died 2 Nov. 1833, Middletown, VT[?], married 27 Oct. 1796, Middletown, VT, Ormond Butler. 10) Lydia, born 25 Sept. 1776, rec. Middletown, died 10 Apr. 1848, age 75, buried Old Cem., Middletown, married 1 Apr. 1796, Middletown, VT, Pitman Barker. 11) Samuel, born 10 Feb. 1779, Probably Bennington, Bennington Co., VT, died 6 Mar. 1855, Woodville, Jefferson Co., NY (DAR Record), married 2 Jan. 1806, Mary Ames (DAR Record). 12) Olive, born 30 Jan. 1784, Middletown, VT (or 28th or 1782), married 1 Jan. 1804, Middletown, VT, John Brown. The line comes from Jonathan with unknown wife, some people say her name is Mary, but I have no solid proof of that; Nathaniel and second wife, Abigail Hartshorn; Joseph and Sarah Mosely, Increase and Bathsheba Johnson. There are several people on the Rudd Mail List that come from Increase's children, especially from the son Samuel, several from Johnson, a few from Silas, at least one from Lydia and Pitman Barker, at least one from Sarah and Samuel Spicer. I am always looking for descendants of the other children, and from my Silas' children.
