    3. Recently I made a trip to FL to look up ancestors buried in several cemetaries there. I was very lucky and found several generations and related lines back to mid 1700's. But many of the headstones where covered with algee which interferred with the clarity of the photos. Anybody have suggestions on what is the best way to clean these headstones and not damage them. I thought that a baking soda mixture might work, I use this on my treated wood deck, but don't have any experience in the area of headstones. On my return trip I want to make a point of cleaning the headstones and leaving flowers on all of the graves. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Private e-mail at [email protected], but think the list might be interested also. By the way, a cousin suggested I not only take still pictures of the graves sites but also video tape the headstones while narrating the information written on them. What a great idea! I'm so glad I did that too. It has come in very handy since I got home in trying to read the pictures and adding information too my files. Thanks, Linda Rudd
