Rudd. His first wife was Ann who he married in 1833.She died in 1835 in Penn Twp. Michigan She bore one child who died. He married Lucina A. Brakeman July 4,1837. Baker enlisted as a sergeant of Co. A 19th. Regiment Michigan Infantry on Aug.8, 1862 at Dowagiac MI. He was wounded by enemy gunshot to the right side of his abdomen at Thompsons Station, Tennessee, on March 5, 1863. He was taken prisoner of war and sent to Richmond Va. paroled at City Poiont, Va. June 13, 1863, sent from Hospital Div. No. 2 to Camp Chase, Ohio Sept 1, 1863. He was discharged at Columbus, Ohio Oct. 23, 1863. How can I get a copy of the information that Celia got from the Rogue Valley Library? Even one new bit of information is precious.
