Hi, Rudd cousins, I checked my 1850 and 1860 CD-ROM census indexes to see what I could find for Rudd people in Decatur Co., Georgia. None in Decatur Co. in 1850, but in 1860, there are three. They are all in Attapulgus P.O. (post office), page 204; their names are Arthur Rudd, Jessee Rudd and William Rudd. So if anyone has access to this 1860 census and looked up these three men they could probably discover who James (Jimmy) Rudd is listed with as a ca 8 year old son.
