Greetings, Crowd---- JAMES W.G. RUDD was born somewhere in North Carolina, abt. 1815. Thought Warren Co., but not sure. Wife on 1850 census was MALINDA (Sindy)?, also born abt 1815, in North Carolina. Believe they went to Cherokee Co., Ga., around 1835 or so. First child was Henry Clay Rudd, born in GA., 1840. There were several more children born, assume all born in same area. Census said they lived in 15th Dist. of Cherokee Co., before leaving to go to Shelby County, Alabama in 1859-60. If anyone can help find this man's birthplace, and parent, siblings, anything, it will be very much appreciated.
