Elaine, here is what I found. Rowan had no PARISH/PARRISH males issued bonds. Surry had one which follows: Marriages of Surry County, NC 1779-1868 compiled by Brent H. Holcomb Genealogical Publishing Company Baltimore, MD Copyright by Genealogical Publishing, Inc. 1982 pg 156 PARRISH, W.W. & Sally PAUNE, 24 December 1863; Wm. SPENCER, bondsman; married 24 December 1863 by Wm. GOLDEN, J.P. The only Rowan Rachel TUCKER married a FISHER in 1821. No Susannah or Elizabeth PARRISH. I did find this in the Rowan book: WRIGHT, Isom & Lane PARRISH, 21 December 1820; Ezekiel PARRISH, bondsman; P. COPPLE, J.P. wit. Nothing was found in the Surry book. Billy
