Were Adoph Cane and Phoebe King in North Carolina in the 1790's? These two were supposed to have ben married in VA, then moved to NW North Carolina and later to Kentucky. Their daughter, Elizabeth Cane, perhaps married the boy Adolph and Phoebe helped raise -- John Kutch. One source has John Kutch and Elizabeth Cane married 1804 in NW North Carolina; another source has them married in Lincoln, KY. Thanks for any information you can share. Gary Rolph
